Nathdwara The town of Nathdwara lies 48 km northest of Udaipur. It hosts the famous temple of Shrinathji and literally means the gateway to the Lord.The meaning of the name of town Nathdwara is “Doorway of Nathji”. The town is famous for its exuberant festivals, miniature paintings, jewellery and its sweets. The best thing about the place is its mystic tranguillity. Charbhuja Temple is a famous Vishnu Temple made by mirrors, Lime mortars and Marble. It lies on the outskirts of the main town. There is a four armed Lord Vishnu Idol in the temple. The temple has the excellent work of the mirror, carved door panel and golden shutter.
