The Galtaji Temple is located only 10km away from Jaipur in Rajasthan. The temple was built in the 18th century by Diwan Rao Kriparam a courtier of Sawai Jai Singh II. This temple is a pre-historic Hindu pilgrimage site. Galtaji temple is situated at a stone's throw from Sisodia Rani-ka Bagh on Agra Road. The galtaji temple is dedicated to Lord Sun. The temple is famous for its natural fresh water springs and 7 holy 'kunds' ie. water tanks.
