Deogarh Mahal is located at Palace road in the district Rajsamand. It is surrounded by a rocky terrain the special sightseeing hot spots include the Sri Dwarkadhish Temple, Rajsamand Lake and Neelkanth Mahadev Mandir. The most popular attraction in the town is the Rajsamand Lake which has a large marble embankment on the southern side with marble terraces and stone steps touching the lake. The Deogarh Mahal stands proudly atop a hill in the Aravalli mountain range amid pictorial landscapes and several lakes. Now it it was transformed into a heritage hotel by the present owner Rawal-Nahar Singh. Rawat Dwarka Dasji built Deogarh Mahal in 1670 A.D as a family residence.
