BIRLA MANDIR IN JAIPUR
The Birla Temple is situated below the Moti Dungri Fort in Jaipur. Birla temple is also known as Lakshmi Narayan temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.The Birla temple was built on the land given to the Birla family by the Maharaja.This temple is built by one of the India’s the famous business families, BM Birla Foundation in the year 1988. The Birla Temple has three domes to represent the three religions of India. And this temple is also bordered by lavish green gardens that highlight the splendour of the temple. Inside this amazing temple you can see a beautifully sculpted idol of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi as well as other Hindu Gods and Goddesses can be seen.
Outside the temple you can also the pictures of historical achievers, legends, Philosophers and spiritual saints like Socrates, Zarathustra, Christ, Buddha and Confucius.It is another major tourist attraction in the Pink City of Jaipur. This temple is completely built with the shinning white marble and it also has carving of deities from other religions, spreading the message of brotherhood and harmony among mankind. The temple has a very small museum which displays old things and home products with objects of the Birla family. The museum is open daily in morning from 08:00 AM to 12: 00 AM then from 04:00PM to 08:00 PM. There is no entry fee to visit this museum. This temple attracts many tourist and devotees every year. During the festival of Janmasthami the view of temple is simply breath taking. The best time to visit it would be in the month from October to March. Devotees can pay their respect at the temple between 8:00 am to 7:00 pm daily.

Jaipur in Rajasthan has its own airports and railway station. It is also well connected by road. From Jaipur you can hire taxis and auto rickshaw to reach Birla temple.
