Amer Palace, Jaipur

Amer Palaces is located in Amber a town which is 11km away from Jaipur. It is built on a hill and it is the principle tourist attractions in the Jaipur area. The town Amer was built by Meenas but later it was ruled by Raja Man Singh. The Amer Palace is popularly known as the Amer Fort.

The Amer Palaces was reported by the superintendent of the Department of Archaeology and Museum. This palace was the residences of the Rajput Maharaja and their families. The fort Ganesh gate is the entrance of the palace. This palace is the combination of both traditional Hindus and Rajputana architecture. The fort is designed out of marble and red stone. During the time of sunset the reflection of fort is occurred in Maotha Lake which look very stunning.

Large , sprawling gardens, grand, chambers and large rooms, a rich decoration and excellent planning mark the construction of the Amer Palaces. The Amer Palace boasts of spectacular structures such as the Ganesh Pole, Jai Mandir, Sheesh Mahal and Sukh Niwas.
This are all historic monuments, opulent in their designing and lavished with various decorative devises. Amer Palaces boasts of the dazzling Seesh Mahal, the hall of Mirrors and the Temple of Victory. The tourist can visit at the time (9:30am to 4:30pm)

Tourists can easily travel by road, rail and air. There are regular flights to Jaipur from other major cities of the country. The nearest option is Sanganer Airport. Jaipur is also connected by rail from other cities. Tourist can also travel by road as the private buses and taxis. Once you reach your destination Then Amer Fort can be travelled by three ways such as elephant ride, walk or by car.
